Terms of service
Last updated 5 November 2026
These terms cover your use of GovRadar, a service run by Orchard Co, “we” or “us”. By signing up you agree to them.
What GovRadar is
GovRadar analyses Australian Government contract data that the Department of Finance publishes on AusTender as open data (CC BY 3.0 AU), and emails briefings for the categories you choose. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with one.
The data is a guide, not advice
Contract details come from what agencies publish and can be incomplete or change later; for example, a contract may be extended past its published end date. Categories are assigned from the procurement codes agencies choose and can be wrong. Check the official records before acting. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on GovRadar.
Accounts and plans
- The free plan is a weekly briefing for one category. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A change applies from your next renewal.
- Refunds are covered in our refund policy.
Fair use
Plans are for your own business. Don't resell or republish briefings in bulk, share one paid login across companies, or try to disrupt or scrape the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability
We aim to send every briefing on time but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or that every contract will be captured. Sources sometimes change or go offline.
Your rights under Australian law
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Subject to those rights, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will email paid subscribers about material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Questions: hello@govradar.au.
