Orchard Co runs GovRadar. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Your email address, and the category you choose for your briefing.
- For paid plans, your name, billing details and payment history. Card details are handled by our payment provider, Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Emails you send us.
- Basic, cookie-free website analytics (pages viewed, referring site, country). This doesn't identify you.
How we use it
To send the briefing you asked for, to bill paid plans, to answer your questions, and to improve the service. We don't sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run GovRadar on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Prisma (database), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments) and Plausible (analytics). Some of these store data outside Australia, including in the United States and Singapore. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
While you're subscribed, and for up to 12 months after you unsubscribe so we can honour that request. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email in one click. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@govradar.au; we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not happy with how we handle a request, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
